Bookings are now subject to an amended cancellation policy with automated implementation. What this means is that when you book an appointment, your card details will be required. Any appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours notice will incur an automatic charge starting from 25% depending on the amount of notice you give.
Cancellation policy – March 2019; https://katedearnbeauty.wordpress.com/terms/
I’m asking everybody to book their next appointment using the online booking system, so that you’ve ticked the checkbox to agree to the booking terms stated. Here you will be asked to input your debit or credit card details, you won’t be charged anything at the time of booking, but will be charged should you cancel with less than 72 hours notice.
From the second and subsequent time you book online you will have the option to ‘use card details on file’ so you won’t need your card every time, only once it expires. If security is a concern for you, don’t worry. Your details are stored securely via the payment provider Square, more information here https://squareup.com/gb/en/payments/secure
If you’re not sure what to do I’m happy to go through the online booking system with you, it should be pretty straightforward once you’ve had a look at it. You just select the treatments you want and it will find you an appointment with the correct amount of time, so all you need to know is the treatments you have and your email address!
So if you know when you want an appointment and you’re sure you can commit to it, feel free to get it booked. And if you’re not sure, you can always wait til you are. I’ll never pressure anyone to book, simply because I just don’t want anyone to have to cancel at a later date.
If you can’t commit to a date in advance, but then you do struggle to find anything suitable online, please just drop me a message to see if I can get you in somewhere, or I can put you on my wait list so if an appointment does become available, I will let you know. It’s not always possible for me to work extra hours, but I’ll always try and accommodate when I can.
I’m sorry this isn’t a more exciting update, and I hope these changes make sense to you. As always I’m striving to offer a smooth running, fair, easily accessible service for everyone.
