Carboxytherapy – New Treatment!

Is your skin dull, sallow, tired or showing signs of ageing?

CLINICCARE Non-Invasive Carboxytherapy is a treatment which infuses carbon dioxide (CO2) into the skin to encourage an increased flow of oxygen. This minimally invasive treatment can offer long lasting skin improvements such as:

✅Elastin stimulation
✅Tissue tightening and brightening
✅Skin regeneration
✅Reduction of dark under-eye circles
✅Improvement in circulation
✅Improved lymphoid drainage

What happens during a carboxytherapy treatment?

Your skin will be prepped by cleansing and performing a professional enzyme peel to remove unwanted surface cells and debris. Then a Carboxytherapy Gel is applied to the face in an even layer and a Carboxytherapy Activator Face Mask is then pressed firmly onto the gel. Upon contact the gel almost ‘fizzles’ on the skin.

A carboxytherapy mask is applied over an activator gel to create intense oxygenation of the skin.

During the treatment you may feel some tingling and the treated area can become mildly red due to a sudden deposit of oxygen. Within 5 minutes post treatment, the carbon dioxide applied to the skin is completely replaced by oxygen. You can go back to your usual activities after treatment and no recovery period is required.

How many carboxytherapy treatments are required?

Depending on the desired results a series of between 4 to 8 treatments of non-invasive carboxytherapy may be required and the treatments can be conducted once every 7 to 14 days. You will see results from just one treatment, but the effects of a Carboxytherapy treatment are cumulative – with every subsequent treatment improving the results of the previous one.

After having a course of carboxytherapy treatments, the average effects last between 2-6 months depending on skin age and condition. You can have regular treatments to help maintain.

Who can have this treatment?

Carboxytherapy is suitable for most people.  However if any of the following apply you may not be suitable for treatment:

❌Use of Roaccutane, Isotretinoin (or other acne medication).
❌Use of AHAs, BHAs, retinol. Cease use 1 week prior.
❌Rosacea, Eczema, dermatitis, excessively sensitive skin.
❌Pregnant, breastfeeding.
❌Cancer, chemo.
❌Skin infections, open wounds or scrapes.
❌Wait at least one week after botox and two to four weeks after filler. Ask the person administering your injectables their advice.

How much does it cost?

Carboxytherapy cannot be performed with any other facial as it is too stimulating, so it is available as a stand alone treatment which is £55. If you wanted to buy a course, 4 treatments is £200 (save £20) and 8 treatments is £360 (save £80) which is available to purchase HERE.
